About me

I work across engineering leadership, solution architecture and enterprise architecture. I help teams turn business intent into systems whose behavior, constraints and tradeoffs can be explained.

I am Vice President of Global Services at DFG, a role I have held since January 2024, and at JetRuby since January 2026. My work connects engineering strategy, architecture and delivery.

From code to systems

My career grew from Ruby on Rails and full-stack development into engineering and operations leadership. I have worked as Head of Engineering and VP of Operations, supporting distributed teams and delivery across multiple projects.

My hands-on background is in Ruby, Rails, JavaScript, React and TypeScript. When debugging, I follow a stack trace back to the intended behavior and the task behind it, then look for the root cause. I use independent AI review sessions alongside manual analysis of code structure, syntax trees and extensibility.

What I am building

Praxis is a project for which I authored the requirements and architecture. Implementation is carried out by the team and AI agents.

I am also developing Packagable, my own engineering harness. It represents requirements, rules, architecture decisions and quality constraints in a versioned RDF/Turtle product model. It combines selected OWL and SHACL capabilities, human-reviewed semantic patches and Rust validation. Connections to code and verification, orchestration and integrations are still evolving.

Architecture in practice

My work includes the initial architecture for a transport-sector legacy migration from IBM to Azure, with implementation and adaptation by the team. I have also designed equipment-data and anomaly-detection solutions for agritech, with maintenance-cost reduction as a goal, and infrastructure and input/output controls for corporate intelligence on Hermes.

I am interested in how explicit requirements, reviewable decisions and reliable feedback make engineering work easier to understand and improve. The case studies describe concrete systems and the tradeoffs behind them.
